Opt in e-mail marketing is used when someone is given the option to receive bulk e-mail. When there is no permission before sending this kind of e-mail it is called ‘spam’. Opt in marketing is very important stuff, because when your prospect don’t want to receive any messages from you, you can not only not gain the client, but you can also have a new enemy. No wonder that people hate this kind of advertising. Every day they delivered us hundreds of bulk e-mails and most of them are totally useless. They only make our mail box full and we have to put them on trash box, which is also waste of time. Furthermore, sometimes bulk e-mails are used to bad purposes, for example sending a dangerous viruses. That is another reason for which we don’t like to open this kind of messages. Opt in marketing is a really good thing, because this gives us a choice. We can be free of those bothersome e-mails if we want or we can receive thousands of them if it is our wish. Opt in marketing provides us some kind of freedom and who of us don’t want to be free?
