Every professional manager who is responsible for advertising campaigns should know that keeping an record of a campaign is important and could be very useful. But every record is kept for analysis, email marketing has some tools to analyse campaigns one is called ‘Click-through Rate’. This form is expressed in percentage units, it measures how many viewers clicked on an advertisement divided per number of websites that this advert is published. Click-through rate does not always measure the effectiveness of the campaign, because some people may just click the advertisement of curiosity. In such situation it may result in high click-through rate but very low sale of product being advertised. This method is great to measure just how much people were interested in an advertisement. Bad point is that it will not measure how did the advertisements influenced the sale of the product. The CTR value will differ depending on how popular the website is and how many visitors it has every day.
