I believe that photography plays an important role in the process of preparing a prospectus for candidates in the elections. The public image of politicians may influence the results of the elections. No wonder that candidates try to surprise the potential electorate. One of the examples of such procedure may be photo of women who offers more their appearance than intellect and idea. The messages of their billboards are definitely addressed to men and might seem to be quite ambiguous. Some of them show, for example, a young and sexy woman lying on a beach in a swimsuit and below her there is a mentioned slogan. In addition, apart from some information about her place on the electoral list and her personal website, there is nothing more. No wonder that such poster aroused controversy. On first sight it is quite attractive but when one think about its message and content – it tells us nothing about that candidate, her views and ideas of change. Even the email newsletters that are sent for her potential electoral are not concise – they do not offer any vision of her ideas of change.
